The UW Metal Halide Lamps are stored in a five(5)gallons bucket without a lid.The <br /> bucket is overfilled with the Metal Halide Lamps . See photo(IMG_0283). <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.33 Universal Waste <br /> Management Requirements for Batteries, Lamps, and Mercury-Containing Equipment <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately place all UW lamps into closed, structurally sound containers with labeling: <br /> "universal waste-lamps". Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 713 CCR 66273.35 Universal Waste Handler stored waste onsite greater than one year or storage time unknown. <br /> OBSERVATION: Universal waste has been stored on site for no longer than one year. The following UW was <br /> stored on-site: <br /> 1. 5 gallons bucket-Lithium Used Batteries with accumulation start date as 7-7-20. See Photo (IMG_0300). <br /> 2. 5 gallons bucket-Used Alkaline Batteries with accumulation start date as of 08-27-2019. See Photo <br /> (I MG_0303). <br /> 3. 5 gallons bucket-Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries with accumulation start date as of 07-17-2020. See Photo <br /> (IMG_0305). <br /> 4. 5 gallons bucket-Used Lead Acid Battery labeled UW with accumulation start date as of 8-28-2019. See photo <br /> (I MG_0307). <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.35 Accumulation Time Limits <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Since it could not be demonstrated how long this UW was stored on site, immediately <br /> dispose of this UW in accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
