The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the required information at the facility. Provide a statement to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Observed an oily seepage underneath the tin secondary containment to the three used oil drums. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean stains and manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br /> Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: Observed objects and two one-gallon containers in the orange used antifreeze secondary <br /> containment. <br /> -Observed oil and debris in the tin used oil secondary containment. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility spill control equipment shall be maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the orange and tin secondary containments into proper working order by removing <br /> the liquid and one-gallon containers in the secondary containment and placing in the proper waste container. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> FA0016420 PR0527377 SCO01 08/25/2021 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.9/16/2020 Page 5 of 7 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br /> 1868 E.
