A
MOORMAN'S WATER SYSTEMS
CONTRACTORS LIC. #267696
WELL DRILLING
PUMP SALES - SERVICE - INSTALLATION
LARRY H. MOORMAN SPRINKLER SYSTEMS LICENSED INSURED
WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT
4243 Cherryland Ave., Stockton, Ca. 95205
Phone 931-3210
-2-
When
2-When we next talked to the inspector and explained the
completion of the job in question, it was said that the permit
would be noted that grouting was done without the inspector
being there. It was never stated that it was done without the
i
inspectors' approval.
When I explained to you that I thought your letter to the •
nate Contractors' License Board without any attempt to hear my'
side of the story was unfair, you agreed. You said that some
of your department wanted to go further and some wanted to drop
the issue. It was felt that this was the middle point. You also
stated that this type of letter goes in the trash at the State
License Board. Whether it does or not, I don't know, but I feel
we deserve an apology under the circumstances, to cancel that
letter.
You also stated that some contractors do such a good job
that they never have to have inspections. The more I have thought
about this the more it stingsi We the contractos of this county
want quality work and a basis of equality and count on your
department to provide this.
It is certainly not a fair measure when the ordinance is
not used for all. It does not say"some"contractors don't need an
an inspection.
I have no intention of making a political issue or going to
the Stockton Record or what ever. I would like to be assured
that we contractors will be treated fairly in the future.
Sincerely,
Larry H. Moorm
c/c: file -
State Contractor Lic. Board
