Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed rodent droppings on open flour bags, on shelf where open bag of peanuts was, on top of <br /> container lid, on cart, on top of dishwasher, on top of front counter hand sink soap dispenser, and on dishwasher sanitizer <br /> bottles. Observed rodent droppings on floor under 2 comp sink, 3 comp sink,dishwasher, bbq grill, ice machine, pepsi <br /> cooler, and kitchen and front bbq hand sinks. Observed rodent dropping in cabinets under self serve stations and on <br /> shelves at bbq station. Clean and sanitize these areas immediately with 100 ppm chlorine solution and increase pest control <br /> measures. The bag of peanuts and bags of flour with rodent droppings on top were voluntarily discarded by employee. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #1 Demonstration of Knowledge <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Lacking food handler cards. Provide food handler cards for all employees within 30 days of hiring. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All food employees shall have adequate knowledge of and be trained in food safety as it relates to their <br /> assigned duties.
