PLUMBING FIXTURES AND TRIM <br />Section 15440 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 — GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. This submittal section describes plumbing fixtures and trim. <br />B. For additional requirements, reference Section 01810 — Systems Commissioning. <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Plumbing Fixture Standards: Comply with applicable portions of the following codes and <br />requirements for all work in this section: <br />1. California Plumbing Code — CPC <br />2. American National Standards Institute —ANSI <br />3. Federal Standards - F.S. <br />B. All plumbing components within the waterways shall comply with the Safe Drinking Water <br />Act (SDWA) "No -Lead" restrictions of ANSI/NSF Standard 61 Section 9. <br />C. All plumbing components intended to dispense water for human consumption shall comply <br />with requirements of California Assembly Bill AB1953. Components to include (but not <br />limited to): piping, faucets, angle stops, valves, bubblers, drinking fountains, piping, etc. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product data: submit complete data of materials proposed including: <br />1. Manufacturer and model number <br />2. Clearly indicate all options, trim, and accessories. <br />3. Cross reference manufacturer's cut sheet to fixture callout ID on submittal sheet. <br />4. Provide MaP text score test report for all water closets. <br />B. Operation and Maintenance Data: submit complete O&M data including: <br />1. Maintenance data and parts lists for each type of fixture. <br />2. Provide "trouble- shooting" maintenance guide <br />3. Include this data within maintenance manual <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 GENERAL: <br />A. All fixtures shall be first class in every respect. Accurately line up finished plumbing. Take <br />special care with the roughing- in and finished plumbing where batteries of fixtures occur. <br />B. Consult Architectural Drawings, as well as Plumbing Drawings, for locations, dimensions <br />and mounting height of plumbing fixtures. <br />1. Take location and mounting heights for roughing -in from Architectural Drawings. <br />C. Follow Plumbing fixture rough -in schedule on Drawings for roughing -in connections. Set <br />roughing -in for all fixtures exactly as per measurements furnished by the manufacturers of <br />the fixtures used. <br />
