DUCTWORK <br />Section 15890 <br />15-1207 <br />D. Flame -Smoke Ratings: All products used in ductwork system to comply with flame -spread <br />index of 25 or less, fuel -contributed index of 50 or less, and smoke -developed index of 50 or <br />less. <br />E. Installer: A firm with at least three years of successful installation experience on projects <br />similar to that required for this work. <br />F. Fabricate all ductwork with sheet metal. Fiberglass ductwork will not be accepted. <br />G. Duct liner to be certified by Greenguard: Greenguard Environmental Institute, independent <br />testing of products for emissions of respirable particles and Volatile Organic Compounds <br />(VOCs), including formaldehyde and other specific product -related pollutants. Provides <br />independent, third -party certification of IAQ performance. Certification is based upon criteria <br />used by EPA, OSHA and WHO <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit typical shop standards and/or SMACNA details for each class of duct specified. <br />Indicate the following for each standard: <br />1. Gauge sizes and joint details <br />2. Pressure Class <br />3. Seam Construction <br />4. System type (e.g. supply air, return, air, etc.) <br />B. Submit shop drawings for ductwork including elevations and showing all terminal units and <br />air devices connections. Drawings shall be a minimum scale of %"=1'-0" and be coordinated <br />with all other trades. <br />C. Record Drawings: At project closet -out, submit Record Drawings of installed ductwork, duct <br />accessories, and inlets / outlets in accordance with the requirements of Division 1. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS <br />A.
