Fittings and Couplings: <br />1. Construct of same minimum gauges listed for ductwork. <br />2. Provide continuous welds along seams. <br />a. At Contractors option, provide spot welded fittings sealed inside and out. <br />2.06 FABRIC DUCTWORK: <br />A. Provide fabric ductwork within Multipurpose room where shown on plans. <br />B. Fabric Ductwork shall be Ductwork Sedona-Xm with SkeleCore FTS system as follows: <br />C. SkeleCore FTS (Fabric Tensioning System): Air diffusers shall be constructed with internal tensioning <br />frame. <br />1. System shall cylindrically tension textile along the entire length of textile duct, including all <br />fittings(crosses, elbows, reducers and tees). <br />2. Tensioning system shall include full 360 degree tensioning and intermediate rings with quick <br />connection spacer tubes concealed inside the fabric system. <br />3. Interior structure to include multiple mechanically adjustable tension devices. To provide proper <br />textile tensioning, structural and textile system shall be configured in segments of no more <br />than 45 feet. <br />4. Textile components supported solely by metal cylindrical rings. <br />5. Each cylindrical ring shall require a vertical metal to metal cable safety attachment. <br />a. Vertical supports are Galvanized steel with available lengths of 5'(standard), 10', 15', & <br />30'. <br />D. Fabric Ductwork — Sedona-Xm:: <br />1. Fabric Construction: Filament/filament twill polyester treated with a machine washable anti- <br />microbial agent by the fabric manufacturer, fire retardant in accordance with UL 2518. Non- <br />linting filament yarn to meet the requirements of ISO Class 3 environment. <br />2. Air Permeability: 2 (+2/-1) CFM/ft2 per ASTM D737, Frazier <br />3. Weight: 6.8 oz. /yd2 per ASTM D3776 <br />4. Warranty: 20 years with standard inlet velocity. <br />5. Color: <br />a. Contractor to provide color per Architect. Upon request, Contractor to provide fabric <br />color samples during submittal process. <br />E. SYSTEM FABRICATION REQUIREMENTS: <br />1. System to be constructed in modular lengths (zippered) with proper radial securing clips (inlets, <br />endcaps and mid -sections) and top access zippers for vertical cable safety attachment. <br />2.
