Balance agency shall submit the results of tests in this SECTION for review by the Architect. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 PATCHING MATERIALS: <br />A. Except as otherwise indicated, use same products as used by original installer for patching <br />holes in insulation, ductwork and housings which have been cut or drilled for test purposes, <br />including access for test instruments, attaching jigs, and similar purposes. <br />1. At tester's option, plastic plugs with retainers may be used to patch drilled holes in ductwork <br />and housings. <br />2.02 TEST INSTRUMENTS: <br />A. Utilize test instruments and equipment for test and balance work required, of type, precision, <br />and capacity as recommended in the following test and balance standards: <br />1. Comply with AABC's Manual "AABC National Standards," Volume 1. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 BALANCING: <br />A. Upon completion of hydronic and air handling systems, balance agency shall complete <br />tests, analysis, and balance of hydropic and air handling systems for heating -cooling <br />equipment. <br />B. Balancing to be completed prior to test and acceptance of fire alarm/detection systems. <br />C. This report shall include as minimum, but not be limited to, following design and actual <br />information: <br />Air -Moving Equipment Data: <br />a. Fan or unit number. <br />b. Location. <br />C. Area served. <br />d. Manufacturer. <br />e. Model number and serial number. <br />f. Design and actual air -flow measurements: <br />(1) Total CFM. <br />(2) Return air CFM <br />(3) Outdoor air CFM <br />(4) Relief air CFM <br />(5) Total/external static pressure in w.g. <br />3 <br />
