SITE ELECTRICAL WORK, GENERAL <br />REQUIREMENTS <br />Section 16000 <br />15-1207 <br />E. After completion of testing and adjustment, operate the different systems and equipment under <br />normal working conditions and show specified performance. If, in the opinion of the Architect, <br />performance of equipment or systems is not in accordance with Contract Document or submitted <br />data, alter or replace equipment at no increase in Contract Price. <br />F. Do not allow or cause any Work installed hereunder to be covered up or enclosed before it has <br />been inspected and accepted. Should any Work be enclosed or covered up before it has been <br />approved, uncover such Work, and after it has been inspected and approved, make all repairs <br />necessary to restore Work of Others to condition in which it was found at time of cutting, all at no <br />increase in Contract Price. <br />G. Provide certified test reports of transformer sound levels where transformers are located within <br />or adjacent to occupied areas. <br />H. At completion of Work provide written certification that all systems are functioning properly <br />without defects. <br />3.4 CLEANING AND PAINTING: <br />A. Properly prepare Work of this Division to be finish painted as part of the Work of Painting <br />Section. <br />B. Refinish Work supplied with final finish as part of the Work of this Division if damaged as part of <br />the Work of this Division to satisfaction of Architect. <br />C. Thoroughly clean interiors of switchboards and motor control centers. After other Work is <br />accomplished, clean exposed conduit, panels (interiors and exteriors), fixtures, and equipment, <br />and leave in condition satisfactory tC, Architect. <br />D. Clean out and remove from site all surplus materials and debris resulting from this Work, <br />including surplus excavated materials. <br />3.5 EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION: <br />A. Properly identify panelboards, convertible circuit breakers in panelboards, motor disconnect <br />switches, starters, and other apparatus used for operation of, or control of, circuits, appliances or <br />equipment, by means of engraved three thirty-secondths inch (3/32") thick laminated plastic <br />descriptive nameplates, with black background and white letters. Mount the nameplates on the <br />apparatus using round -head brass machine screws or pop rivets. Cardholders in any form will <br />not be acceptable. <br />3.6 SALVAGE MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT: <br />A. Where remodel or demolition work is to be accomplished under this Contract, all removed <br />materials and equipment which in the opinion of the Owner are salvable shall remain the <br />4 A <br />I,+ <br />
