B. Operation: <br />1. Camera Operating System: <br />a. Cameras will be located in appropriate housings and installed at the location to <br />be monitored. <br />b. Monitors are in approved and designated locations per the Manteca Unified <br />School District. <br />C. Conduits shall include 25% provision for future expansion. <br />1.06 SECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: <br />A. Parking Lots: Vehicle surveillance and staff/student/visitor safety. Minimum of 1 camera , type <br />and install location dependent on environment and available mounting options. <br />B. Loading and Unloading Zones: Student safety around the pick-up/drop off zones, minimum of <br />1. Additional cameras may be required based on environment and available mounting <br />options. <br />C. Hallways and Corridors: Monitoring student safety/activity while class is in/out of session. <br />Number of cameras and type are dependent on environment and available installation <br />locations. Camera locations should provide full coverage, eliminating blind spots. <br />D. Campus Entrances/Exits: To monitor student, staff and visitor access to/from school site. <br />Number of cameras and type are dependent on environment and available installation <br />locations. Minimum of 1 camera to cover each location. <br />E. Main Office: Monitor all visitors to a front office. This location should also include a "spot <br />monitor" for viewing multiple camera feeds. 1 camera, 1 spot monitor. Location of camera <br />and spot monitor be determined based on available mounting options. <br />F. Cafeteria: Student and staff safety in an area where a large group of students congregate. <br />Number of cameras and type are dependent on environment and available installation <br />locations. Cameras should provide full coverage, eliminating blind spots. <br />G. Gymnasiums, Labs and Shops: Student, Staff and Visitor safety. Sporting events and heavy <br />machinery/tools usage. Number of cameras and type are dependent on environment and <br />available mounting options. Cameras should provide full coverage, eliminating blind spots. <br />H. Restroom Entrances : Provide appropriate information if there is an incident inside a <br />restroom. Number of cameras and type are dependent on environment and available <br />mounting options. Minimum of 1 camera to cover each location to monitor traffic in and out of <br />school restrooms. <br />L Genera_ I Outdoor Locations : Outdoor day/night cameras for activity monitory throughout the <br />school day as well as surveillance of the school grounds afterhours. Number of cameras and <br />type are dependent on environment and available mounting options. <br />J. *Onsite collaboration between I.T. and contractor required to finalize camera count, type and <br />location. Reference drawings for exact quantity and locations. <br />1.07 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Floor plans showing the entire area with room numbers, locations for each device, riser <br />diagram, point to point diagram, symbol of all devices being used. Indicate system <br />components, size of components, location and provide full schematic of wiring system <br />showing building, operation details. <br />2 <br />
