SECURITY CAMERA <br />Section 16750 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. The work required under this section of the specifications consists of the installation of the <br />raceway systems and power required for the installed surveillance system, indicated on the <br />drawings. The system will be fully integrated with the existing video control system. The main <br />video Head End equipment and system controller is located in IDF room as shown on the <br />drawings. Furnish and install raceway systems, patch panels, and 120V power necessary to <br />connect all cameras to the campus surveillance system. All vendor provided materials and <br />devices which are an integral part of these systems shall be provided and installed. All <br />raceway, outlet boxes and 24 volt power shall be provided under this section of the <br />specifications to provide a complete and functional system. <br />B. Related Sections: <br />1. All control and power wiring. <br />1.03 REFERENCES <br />A. Installation shall comply with all applicable codes. <br />B. All equipment, wiring, and operation of the system shall comply with local and state <br />ordinances, CEC and UL Standards for Safety. <br />1.04 QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. All equipment shall be new, in current production, the standard products of an acceptable <br />manufacturer. <br />B. The system shall be installed by a factory authorized, and trained, Closed Circuit Television <br />Installer. <br />C. Maintenance and repair service shall be available locally and within (4) hours of notification <br />for emergency conditions. <br />1.05 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION <br />A. The purpose of the system is to provide security surveillance and recording of areas shown <br />on drawings. <br />
