Loss numbers for the <br />installed link shall be calculated by taking the sum of the bi-directional measurements and <br />dividing that sum by two. <br />D. The Contractor, at no charge, shall bring any link not meeting the requirements of the standard <br />into compliance to the Owner. <br />PART 4 SITE SPECIFICATIONS <br />4.1 GENERAL <br />A. The work covered by this section of the Specification includes all labor necessary to perform <br />and complete such construction, all materials and equipment incorporated or to be incorporated <br />in such construction, and all services, facilities, tools and equipment necessary or used to <br />perform and complete such construction. <br />4.2 DOCUMENTATION: <br />A. For each installation, the Contractor shall provide as -built drawings showing cable routing and <br />the location where terminal blocks, splices, information outlets and termination panels are <br />installed. As -Built Drawings shall also show actual cabling point to point connections (actual <br />field identification tag), cable quantities/type. <br />B. Drawings will be submitted electronically using both AutoCad and PDF file formats. The <br />Contractor will supply this material to the Owner electronically and hard copy. <br />C. The Contractor shall provide a complete list of test results for each cable installed. Test results <br />will conform to that described above. The test results shall be delivered in hard copy and <br />electronic format. <br />PART 5 - ACCEPTANCE TESTING <br />5.1 GENERAL <br />A. The Owner will accept each cable installation job as complete when the following activities are <br />completed: <br />1. All cables are installed and terminated as specified in this section, or as amended by <br />Change Orders before or during the Project. <br />2. All components are verified to comply with the Owner standards as specified. <br />3. The Owner Project Manager has performed a final inspection of each site. <br />4. The complete cable test results are submitted to the Owner. <br />5. The as -built documentation is presented to the Owner. <br />6. The warranty information is documented and presented to the Owner. <br />B. Following acceptance, if cable connections are found to be in -operational or of poor <br />workmanship, the Owner Project Manager shall contact the Contractor, and require add a. <br />visits and work as needed to comply with the specifications. The cost of these additional visits <br />and work will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor. <br />14 <br />
