This
includes a higher efficiency rating, staged cooling capacity, and variable
speed fans)
■ These units are what the owner would like to install.
• Other additional equipment efficiency measures discussed earlier include:
o Airside Economizer:
■ Air -side economizers save energy in buildings by admitting cool outside air
when conditions are right as a means of cooling the indoor space and also
improving indoor air quality.
o Daylighting Controls
■ Daylighting controls utilize sensors to dim or turn off lights in areas where
and when daylight provides adequate light levels.
6.0 Building Occupant and O&M Personnel Expectations (Maintainability)
0 Each HVAC unit shall have a Programmable Thermostat, including the make-up air unit.
