This plan outlines the process, identifies commissioning team members, and <br />assigns roles and responsibilities to the team members, This plan does not include all details of the <br />Functional Testing procedures, but rather outlines the responsibilities for development and application of <br />the testing. Functional Testing procedures will be provided in the commissioning specifications. <br />1.0 General Project Information <br />• Lincoln Elementary School Cafeteria Replacement <br />• 750 E Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, CA 95336 <br />• Type V -B, Non Separated, Sprinkiered. Occupancy: A2, B, S2, & F2 <br />• Size: 12,351 square feet <br />• Building Description: Multi-purpose room and food service facility. <br />• Manteca Unified School District (MUSD) <br />• Scheduled Completion Date: 08-15-16 <br />2.0 Commissioning Goals <br />• Ensure the building systems perform according to the owner's project requirements (UPR) and <br />basis of design (BOD). <br />• Ensure the comfort systems meet the requirements of the occupants. <br />• Document that the equipment is installed and started per manufacturer's recommendations. <br />• Document that equipment and systems receive complete operational checkout by the installing <br />contractors. <br />• Document system performance via Functional Testing. <br />• Verify the completeness of the Systems manual. <br />• Ensure that the owner's operating personnel are adequately trained on the operation and <br />maintenance of the building Systems. <br />3.0 Systems to be Commissioned <br />• Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems and Controls <br />o Original design intent: Systems shall maintain: <br />■ Indoor summer temperature at 76°F +20F/ -0°F with no humidity control. <br />■ Indoor winter temperature at 69°F +0°F/ -20F with no humidity control. <br />o Equipment and systems to be tested: <br />■ AC -1G, 25 -ton, gas heating, electric direct expansion (DX) cooling unit <br />■ AC -2G, 7.5 -ton, gas heating, electric direct expansion (DX) cooling unit <br />® AC -3G, 4 -ton, gas heating, electric direct expansion (DX) cooling unit <br />■ EF -1 G, 1,200 cfm exhaust fan <br />1 of 8 <br />
