Commissioning Plan, June 24, 2015 ■ EF -2G, 475 cfm exhaust fan ■ EF -3G, 325 cfm exhaust fan ■ EF -4G, 1,000 cfm exhaust fan ■ MAU-1G, 1,000 cfm make-up air unit with gas heating and evaporative cooling Functions to be tested ■ All Systems: ■ ACs: All Acceptance Tests as required by the California Energy Code Air balancing by an independent AABC or NEBB certified air balancing firm. Cooling mode Heating mode (1st and 2nd stage) Economizer mode • Demand controlled ventilation (DCV) mode ■ EFs: Operation per control scheme (switch, timer, interlock, etc.) ■ MAU: Operation per control scheme (switch, timer, interlock, etc.) o Conditions of tests: ■ HVAC systems shall be completely installed and fully operational prior to Functional Testing. • Building envelope shall be sealed and insulated. o Criteria for acceptable performance ■ All systems: • All acceptance tests and associated forms completed with no issues noted. • Air testing and balancing (TAB) report completed with no issues noted. • All modes function per design, including cooling, heating, economizer, DCV, switches, timers, and interlocks as applicable. o Indoor Lighting System and Controls o Original design intent: ■ Lighting energy will be minimized without compromising required light levels by the use of: • LED technology • Lighting Control Panel (LCP) • Occupancy sensors • Daylighting controls • Skylights o Equipment and systems to be tested: ■ Light levels ■ LCP functionality (sweep on, sweep off, etc.) ■ Occupancy sensors ■ Daylighting controls o Functions to be tested • Light levels ■ LCP functionality ■ Occupancy sensors functionality ■ Daylighting controls functionality o Conditions of tests: ■ Lighting systems shall be completely installed and fully operational prior to Functional Testing. ■ Areas affected by interior lighting systems must be finished including floor, wall and ceiling finishes 2of8
