CONTRACT CLOSEOUT <br />Section 01700 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 FINAL CLEANING <br />A. Immediately prior to completion and occupancy, utilizing a professional cleaning service, <br />remove marks, stains, fingerprints, dust, dirt and paint drippings resulting from work of this <br />project, inside and out including roofs, walls, floors, sidewalks, paving and other finished <br />surfaces. Wash tile, plumbing and other fixtures clean. Clean and polish all windows, <br />hardware and other unpainted metals. Remove temporary labels, tags and paper covering. <br />1.03 REQUIREMENTS PREPARATORY TO FINAL ACCEPTANCE <br />A. Temporary facilities shall be removed from site. <br />B. Plumbing, mechanical and electrical equipment shall operate quietly and free from vibration. <br />Properly adjust, repair, balance, or replace equipment producing objectionable noise or <br />vibration in occupied areas of building. Provide additional brackets, bracing, etc., to prevent <br />objectionable noise or vibration. Systems shall operate without humming, surging, or rapid <br />cycling. <br />C. Operating instructions for equipment shall be properly mounted and posted. <br />D. Training: Provide training and orientation of Owner's operating staff in proper care and <br />operation of equipment, systems and controls including: <br />1. Resetting fire rated overhead coiling doors. <br />2. Kitchen equipment. <br />3. Fire protection systems. <br />4. Plumbing equipment. <br />5. HVAC equipment. <br />6. Control systems. <br />7. Signal systems. <br />8. Telephone communication systems. <br />9. Data systems. <br />10. TelevisionNideo systems. <br />11. Fire alarm systems. <br />12. Intrusion alarm systems. <br />13. Sound systems. <br />14. Other systems as required in the specifications or needed to properly instruct Owner's <br />representatives. <br />15. Submit three copies of certificate, signed by the Owner's representative, attesting to <br />their having been instructed. <br />E. Record Drawings shall be completed, signed by Contractor and Inspector and submitted to <br />Architect as specified in Section 01300. <br />F. Maintenance and Operating instructions and manuals shall be submitted to Architect, as <br />
