RELOCATABLE BUILDING DEMOLITION <br />Section 02073 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 <br />INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. <br />The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to <br />this Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 <br />RELATED SECTIONS <br />A. <br />Section 01010, Summary of Work. <br />B. <br />Section 01500, Construction Facilities and Temporary Controls. <br />C. <br />Section 01700, Contract Closeout. <br />D. <br />Section 02075, Hazardous Material Abatement — PCB Ballasts <br />E. <br />Section 02076, Hazardous Material Abatement — Lead Paint <br />F. <br />Section 02078, Hazardous Material Abatement — Vinyl Asbestos Tile (VAT) <br />G. <br />Section 02082, Asbestos Abatement - Roofing <br />1.03 <br />SUBMITTALS <br />A. <br />Submit under provisions of Section 01300, Submittals. <br />B. <br />Shop Drawings: Indicate areas for demolition, removal sequence and location of <br />salvageable items. <br />1.04 <br />PROJECT RECORD DOCUMENTS <br />A. <br />Submit under provisions of Section 01700, Contract Closeout. <br />1.05 <br />PROJECT REQUIREMENTS <br />A. <br />Obtain required permits from authorities. <br />B. <br />Notify affected utility companies before starting work and comply with their requirements. <br />C. <br />Do not close or obstruct egress width to exits. <br />D. <br />Do not disable or disrupt building fire or life safety systems without 3 day prior written <br />notice to the Owner. Portions of the building and other buildings on-site not a part of the <br />contract shall not be left unprotected during non -work hours. <br />E. <br />Conform to applicable procedures when discovering and abating hazardous or <br />contaminated materials. <br />1.06 <br />QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. <br />Demolition Firm: Company specializing in performing the Work of this Section with <br />1 <br />
