RELOCATABLE BUILDING DEMOLITION <br />Section 02073 <br />15-1207 <br />minimum of five (5) years experience. <br />1.07 SCHEDULING <br />A. Sequence work under the provisions of Section 01010, Summary of Work. <br />B. Schedule work under the provisions of Section 01300, Submittals. <br />C. Schedule work to coincide with new construction and owner's use of affected and <br />unaffected facilities. <br />D. No demolition shall occur when the site is occupied by students or staff. <br />1.08 BURNING <br />A. The use of burning at the project site for the disposal of refuse and debris will not be <br />permitted. <br />1.09 USE OF EXPLOSIVES <br />A. Use of explosives will not be permitted. <br />1.10 SALVAGE MATERIALS <br />A. Salvage of materials or equipment is at the discretion of the demolition contractor. <br />Storage or sale of removed items will not be permitted on Project Site. Transport <br />salvaged items from Project Site as they are removed. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />Not Used <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 PREPARATION <br />A. Provide, erect, and maintain temporary barriers and partitions as needed to safeguard <br />occupants and pedestrians. <br />B. Erect and maintain weatherproof closures for exterior openings. <br />C. Erect and maintain temporary partitions to prevent spread of dust, odors and noise to <br />permit continued Owner occupancy, as specified in Section 01010, Summary of Work. <br />D. Protect existing structures, landscaping, materials and equipment which are not to be <br />demolished. <br />E. Prevent movement of structure; provide required bracing and shoring. <br />F. Mark location of all utilities in work area prior to start of demolition. <br />2 <br />
