HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ABATEMENT
PCB BALLASTS & FLUORESCENT LAMPS
Section 02075
15-1207
B. Loading the Truck: All lamp boxes should be hand stacked, lengthwise, front to back with the
open end of the box facing the front of the truck. Place all partial boxes on the top of the load or
pallet to minimize breakage.
C. Pallets: Palletizing will speed the loading process. If possible, palletize and stretch -wrap the
boxes to the pallet, being careful not to extend the boxes over the pallets. Excess weight during
shipment will cause breakage. A 40 -inch wide by 48 -inch long pallet is recommended for 4 -foot
lamps. Please load anything longer than four feet without a pallet.
END OF SECTION
i.11207 linco/n as - cafeteria reptacement14.06 projman102075 hazardous mat abatement pcb.doc
3
