SITE CLEARING AND REMOVAL <br />Section 02110 <br />15-1207 <br />E. Protect any existing structures, utilities and all appurtenances to remain. Prevent movement <br />or settling. Provide bracing and shoring as required. <br />Cease cleaning and removal operations immediately if any existing structure or utility <br />appears in danger. Notify the District Representative and Civil Engineer of Records. <br />Do not resume operations until directed. <br />F. All broken construction material, trash and debris, tree slash, sidewalks, curbs, etc. will be <br />considered "waste" and shall be removed from the site. <br />G. "Waste" material shall be removed from the site as soon as possible and shall not be allowed <br />to accumulate. Short-term storage of removed material shall be restricted to previously <br />designated "waste" areas or as directed by the District Representative. <br />No burning or burying of "waste" material will be permitted. <br />H. Continuously dampen all clearing and removal areas to prevent dust from rising during the <br />operation. Provide hoses and/or water trucks as required. <br />3.04 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br />A. The Owner shall retain an independent inspection firm or contact local officials and inspectors <br />at locations where local building codes require special inspections. <br />3.05 CLEAN UP <br />A. Material designated for removal shall become the property of this contractor, and any salvage <br />value therefrom will accrue to this contractor. <br />B. Remove from the site and make legal disposition of all waste and debris.
