EARTHWORK <br />Section 02200 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 -GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 01500, Construction Facilities and Temporary Controls. <br />B. Section 02210, Trenching and Backfilling. <br />C. Section 02400, Site Drainage. <br />D. Section 02513, Asphalt Concrete Paving. <br />E. Section 03000, Site concrete. <br />F. Section 02810, Irrigation. <br />G. Section 02900, Landscaping. <br />H. Section 02270, Erosion Control <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />B. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Inspector of Record. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />C. The representatives of the Owner's testing lab will not act as supervisor of construction, nor <br />will they direct construction operations. Neither the presence of the Owner's testing lab <br />representatives nor the testing by the Owner's testing lab shall excuse the contractors or <br />subcontractors for defects discovered in their work during or following completion of the <br />project. Correcting of inadequate compaction or moisture content is the sole responsibility of <br />the contractor. <br />D. Tests (See Part 3 for Compaction Testing). <br />E. Contractor shall be solely responsible for all subgrades built. Failures resulting from <br />inadequate compaction or moisture content are the responsibility of the contractor. <br />Contractor shall be solely responsible for any and all repairs. <br />
