EROSION CONTROL <br />Section 02270 <br />15-1207 <br />[EDIT NOTE: This specification is provided by Civil when a SWPPP is prepared others] <br />PART 1 -GENERAL <br />1.01 SCOPE OF WORK <br />A. General: Provide all materials, equipment and labor necessary to furnish and install erosion <br />and sediment control measures as require by the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. <br />1.02 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. General: Comply with State and local codes and regulations. <br />PART2-PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Supply all material as shown and described on the SWPPP. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 INSTALLATION <br />A. Install all items necessary as shown on the SWPPP or as required by State and local <br />agencies. <br />3.02 MAINTENANCE AND REMOVAL: <br />A. General: Maintain and repair existing and new erosion control facilities throughout the <br />construction period. Remove silt build up as needed. Repair damage to earth slopes and <br />banks. Erosion control measures shall be left in place. <br />B. Monitoring: Provide monitoring of erosion control measures before and after storm events. <br />Provide a daily log of construction activities and impact on erosion control measures. <br />Update SWPPP continuously throughout construction period. Daily log shall be available <br />on site at all times. <br />C. Cleaning: Keep area clean of debris. <br />D.
