IRRIGATION <br />Section 02810 <br />Project 15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />Construction Documents and general provisions of the Contract, including General and <br />Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 Specification sections, apply to this section. <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Scope of Work: Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation <br />required to perform and complete the installation of an automatic sprinkler irrigation <br />system, including all piping, sprinkler heads, controls, connections, testing, etc. as <br />shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. The water source for this project is <br />potable water. <br />B. Utilize and accept as standards manufacturer's recommendations and/or installation <br />details for any information not specifically detailed on the Drawings. <br />1.02 RELATED SECTIONS <br />A. SUBMITTALS: Section 01300. <br />B. CONTRACT CLOSEOUT: Section 01700. <br />C. CONCRETE FORM WORK: Section 03100. <br />D. SITE CONCRETE: Section 03000. <br />E. ELECTRICAL: Division 16. <br />F. EARTHWORK: Section 02200. <br />G. LANDSCAPING: Section 02900. <br />1.03 GUARANTEE <br />A. Guarantee all workmanship and materials hereunder against defective workmanship <br />and materials, including damage by leaks and settlement of irrigation trenches, for the <br />duration specified in Division 1 of these Specifications. (The Contractor is not <br />responsible for vandalism or theft after date of final acceptance.) <br />1.04 QUALITY CONTROL <br />A. Qualifications of Contractor: Provide proof of five years continuous experience in <br />landscaping and irrigation of projects of similar size. <br />B. Work Force: Ensure that an experienced foreman is present at all times during <br />installation. Keep the same foreman and workers on the job from commencement to <br />completion. <br />1 <br />
