IRRIGATION <br />Section 02810 <br />Project 15-1207 <br />C. Reviews: Specifically request reviews of all items listed below in "Inspection <br />Requirements" prior to progressing to the next level of work. <br />D. Certification: Ensure that the contractor installing the Central Control System is trained <br />and certified in the installation of the Central Control System. The training and <br />certification must have been completed within two years prior to the installation date. <br />E. Standards: <br />Provide work and material in full accordance with the rules and regulations of the <br />National Electric Code; the Uniform Plumbing Code; and other applicable state <br />or local laws or regulations. <br />2. Furnish, without extra charge, additional material and labor required to comply <br />with these rules and regulations, though the work may not be specifically <br />indicated in the Specifications or Drawings. <br />3. Where the Specification requirements exceed those of the above-mentioned <br />codes and regulations, comply with the requirements in the Specifications. <br />F. Delivery, Storage, and Handling: <br />Use all means necessary to protect irrigation system materials before, during, <br />and after installation and to protect related work and material. <br />2. Handle plastic pipe carefully, especially protecting it from prolonged exposure to <br />sunlight. Store pipe on beds that are the full length of the pipe, and keep pipe <br />flat and off the ground with blocks. <br />G. Comply with the requirements of Section 01700 — CONTRACT CLOSEOUT. <br />1.05 INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Request and hold a pre -construction meeting prior to beginning the work of this Section. <br />Parties required to be in attendance are the Landscape Contractor, Project Inspector, <br />Owner's Representative, and the Landscape Architect. <br />B. Prior to commencement of the work of this Section, obtain written verification from the <br />project Civil Engineer that the rough grade in landscape areas is in conformance with <br />Section 02200 - EARTHWORK. <br />C. Obtain verification from Project Inspector for the following at the appropriate times during <br />construction and prior to further progression of work in this Section: <br />Pressure testing of all mainlines and lateral lines (See "Hydrostatic Tests — Open <br />Trench" in Part 3.18 of this Section), <br />2.
