LANDSCAPING <br />Section 02900 <br />Project 15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />Construction Documents and general provisions of the Contract, including General and <br />Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 Specifications sections, apply to this section. <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Scope of Work: Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation <br />required to perform and complete the following work as specified herein: <br />1. Soil Preparation and Fertilization <br />2. Planting <br />3. Sodding <br />4. Weed Control <br />5. Mulch <br />6. Clean-up <br />7. Landscape Maintenance Period <br />8. Guarantee <br />B. Work not included in this Section: Landscape elements such as concrete walks, fencing, <br />outdoor lighting, rough grading, and clearing are not a part of this Section unless shown <br />on the landscape Drawings. <br />1.02 RELATED SECTIONS <br />A. SUBMITTALS: Section 01300. <br />B. CONTRACT CLOSEOUT: Section 01700. <br />C. EARTHWORK: Section 02200. <br />D. SPRINKLER IRRIGATION: Section 02810. <br />1.03 GUARANTEE <br />A. The guarantee period for lawn and plant material shall be the duration of the landscape <br />maintenance period, from commencement until final acceptance of the work of this <br />Section. See Division 1 for other applicable guarantee requirements. <br />B. During the guarantee period, repair and/or replace plants and lawn not in satisfactory <br />growing condition, as determined by Owner's Representative, without additional cost to <br />Owner. Plants are to be replaced as per "Landscape Maintenance" in Part 3.09 of this <br />1 <br />
