CAST -IN-PLACE CONCRETE <br />Section 03300 <br />15-1207 <br />intended to be used in this project and as listed in Part 2 of this specification. <br />C. Submit concrete mix design for each type of concrete on the project in accordance with CBC <br />Section 1905A.3. Mix design shall be signed by a California Registered Civil Engineer to <br />verify compliance with CBC Section 1905A.2. <br />D. Submit Shop Drawings: Proposed location of constructions and cold joints when different or <br />in addition to those shown on the drawings. <br />E. Transit -mix delivery slips: <br />1. Keep a record at the job site showing time and place of each pour of concrete, together <br />with transit -mix delivery slip certifying contents of the pour in accordance with the CBC. <br />2. Make all records available to the Architect and Division of the State Architect for their <br />inspection upon request. <br />3. Upon completion of this portion of the work, deliver all records and the delivery slips to <br />the Architect. <br />4. Batch Plant Certificates: Include with delivery of each load of concrete. Provide <br />certificates to the Testing Agency and the Architect/Engineer as separate submittals. <br />Concrete delivered to the site without such certificate shall be rejected and returned to <br />the plant. Each certificate shall include all information specified in Article SOURCE <br />QUALITY CONTROL below. <br />F. Submit executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />1.05 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.04. See Part 3 <br />of this specification regarding concrete finishing and defective concrete. In addition, provide <br />Moisture Barrier Admixture Manufacturer's (2) year warranty against moisture related failure, <br />including all finish floor materials and labor. <br />1.06 REFERENCES AND STANDARDS <br />A. California Building Code (CBC), current edition, as adopted by the Division of the State <br />Architect. <br />B. ACI Standards, ACI 211. 1, ACI 318-08, ACI 302, 1R-04, ACI 301-05, ACI 305R-99, ACI <br />306R-02, ACI 308-98. <br />C. ASTM C-04, Specification for Ready -mixed concrete. <br />1.07 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver undamaged products to job in manufacturer's sealed containers and/or original <br />bundles with tags and labels intact. <br />B. Store materials in protected, dry conditions off of ground and in areas so as to not interfere <br />with the progress of the work. <br />2 <br />
