CAST -IN-PLACE CONCRETE <br />Section 03300 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 -GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 01400, Testing Lab Services <br />B. Section 02200, Earthwork. <br />C. Section 03100, Concrete Formwork. <br />D. Section 03200, Concrete Reinforcement. <br />E. Section 06100, Rough Carpentry <br />F. Section 07900, Joint Sealants <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />B. Use materials and products of one manufacturer whenever possible. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Project Inspector. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />D. Conflicting requirements: In the event of conflict between pertinent codes and regulations <br />and the requirements of the referenced standards or these specifications, the provisions of <br />the more stringent shall govern. <br />E. Pre -installation Meeting: <br />1. Hold a pre -installation conference two weeks prior to the start of concrete pour at <br />elevated concrete decks. Attendees shall include Contractor, Architect, Structural <br />Engineer, and Project Inspector. <br />2. Review Contractor's intended method of pour, including lines and levels, and Architect's <br />expectations related to floor flatness, inspection, self -leveling concrete floor <br />underlayment, installation of casework and other related topics. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Within 35 days after award of Contract, and before any concrete materials are delivered to <br />the job site, submit to the Architect a complete list of all materials proposed to be used in this <br />portion of the work. Provide complete Manufacturer's product information for all items <br />
