Galvanized Steel: ASTM A525, G90 finish, 24 gage steel. <br />2.05 ACCESSORIES <br />A. Preformed Control Joints: Rubber or Neoprene material. Provide with corner and tee <br />accessories, heat or cement -fused joints, manufactured by Dur -O -Wal. <br />B. Joint Filler: Closed cell polyvinylchloride; oversized 50 percent to joint width; self -expanding. <br />C. Building Paper: #30 asphalt saturated felt. <br />D. Nailing Strips: Softwood, preservative treated for moisture resistance, dovetail shape, sized <br />to masonry joints. <br />E. Weep Holes: Cotton wick. <br />F. Cleaning Solutions: Non -acidic, not harmful to masonry work or adjacent materials. <br />G. Water Repellant: As specified in Section 07180. <br />H. Tie Wire: 16 ga. black annealed. <br />2.06 MORTAR AND GROUT <br />A. Portland Cement: ASTM C150, Type 11. <br />B. Blended Cement: ASTM C595, Type S. <br />C. Mortar Sand: In accordance with ASTM C144; natural sand, white or light grey color, not <br />less than 3% to pass No. 100 sieve. <br />D. Hydrated Lime: ASTM C207, Type S <br />E. Quicklime: ASTM C5, non -hydraulic type <br />F. Lime Putty: Make from quicklime or hydrated lime. If quicklime is used, shake and screen <br />through sieve having 15 or more meshes per linear inch. Store under protection for at least <br />10 days before using. Lime putty shall have unit weight of at least 83 pcf. <br />G. Mortar: ASTM C270, Type S , (1800 psi strength at 28 days), or Type M ( 2500 psi strength <br />at 28 days)., <br />H. Grout Aggregate: ASTM C404; evenly graded with 3/8" maximum size. <br />7 <br />
