ROUGH CARPENTRY <br />Section 06100 <br />15-1207 <br />Clean surrounding material of excess caulking. <br />H. Building Paper: Install on wall surfaces where finish will be metal siding or veneer. Apply 2 <br />layers weatherboard fashion with 2" laps to horizontal joints and 6" laps at vertical joints and <br />corners. Use 3/8" head galvanized nails, nailing sufficiently to hold without buckling. Repair <br />all damaged places before installation of finish materials. Installation of paper finish for <br />cement plaster is included in Section 09200. <br />3.04 DEFECTIVE WORK <br />A. Replace all defective work at Contractor's expense. <br />B. Replace defective or damaged work with conforming work. <br />C. Correct defects using means that will not injure the materials. <br />D. Replace defective or damaged work which cannot be corrected in the field with new work, or <br />return defective items to the shop for repair. <br />E. Repair or replace framing lumber sagged, twisted or warped due to shrinkage from excessive <br />moisture content at time of installation, or from other causes. <br />F. Adjust to meet specified tolerances. <br />G. Architect/Engineer shall review all proposals for the repair or replacement of damaged, <br />defective, or missing work. <br />H. Pay expenses incurred by Owner for Architect/Engineer's costs for (re -)design and obtaining <br />approvals of DSA necessitated by incomplete, improperly performed, defective or <br />nonconforming work. <br />I. Contractor shall pay expenses due to re -testing and re -inspection necessitated by <br />incomplete, improperly performed, defective or nonconforming work. <br />END OF SECTION <br />`[e7 <br />
