FINISH CARPENTRY AND <br />MILLWORK <br />Section 06200 <br />15-1207 <br />D. Make delivery to job when notified by Contractor verifying that the job is ready to receive the <br />work of this Section and that arrangements have been made to properly store, handle and <br />protect such materials and work. <br />1.08 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Products shall be available at project when required for installation so as not to delay job <br />progress. Installer for these products shall cooperate with installers performing work under <br />other Sections involved to effect proper installation. <br />B. Materials shall be protected continuously after grading, during storage, transportation and <br />handling, in such a manner as to avoid exposure to moisture conditions that could increase <br />their moisture content. <br />C. Protect exterior work from rain and other moisture until it can be finished. <br />1.09 FIELD MEASUREMENTS <br />A. Make and be responsible for all field dimensions necessary for proper fitting and completion <br />of work. Report discrepancies to Architect before proceeding. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Exterior Trim (including Fascia): <br />Redwood, B -grade or better, dry, rough sawn face, for opaque finish. <br />B. Interior Trim: <br />W.I. Custom Grade V.G. Douglas Fir, for opaque finish. <br />Furnish for all trim where hardwood is not indicated. <br />C. Moisture content shall be a minimum of 6% and shall not exceed 12% up to 2 inches nominal <br />thickness and shall not exceed 19% for pieces thicker than 2 inches up to 4 inches nominal <br />thickness. <br />D. Interior Plywood: [Specify per Architectural Woodwork Standards, WI.] <br />E. Wood Preservative: Dip or brush treat all exterior wood except Redwood or Cedar unless <br />otherwise noted; per Architectural Woodwork Standards, WI. <br />F. Adhesives: As recommended by the manufacturer for the intended use and materials <br />required. <br />G. Fasteners: Provide all fasteners as indicated on drawings or shop drawings or as necessary <br />for proper installation of products installed herein, in sizes, quantities sufficient to draw and <br />hold products rigidly and permanently in place. Fasteners shall be selected for concealed <br />appearances. <br />3 <br />
