THERMOPLASTIC MEMBRANE <br />ROOFING - ADHERED <br />Section 07541 <br />15-1207 <br />E. Sarnafastener-XP <br />A #15, heavy-duty, corrosion -resistant fastener used with Sarnaplate to attach insulation or <br />with Sarnadisc, Sarnastop and Sarnabar to attach Sarnafil G410 roof membrane to steel or <br />1/2-3/4 inch wood roof decks. Sarnafastener-XP has a shank diameter of approximately 0.21 <br />inch and the thread diameter is approximately 0.26 inch The driving head has a diameter of <br />approximately 0.435 inch with a #3 Phillips recess for positive engagement. Sarnafastener-CD10 <br />A nail -in, corrosion -resistant fastener used with Sarnaplates to attach insulation to normal <br />weight concrete roof deck, Sarnafastener-CD10 has a shank diameter of 0.215 inch a split <br />diameter of 0.265/0.275 inch and a flat head with a 0.435 inch diameter. Consult Product <br />Data Sheet for additional information. <br />G. Sarnastop <br />An extruded aluminum, low profile bar used with certain Sarnafasteners to attach to the roof <br />deck or to walls/curbs at terminations, penetrations and at incline changes of the substrate. <br />Samastop is a 1 inch wide, flat aluminum bar 1/8 inch thick that has predrilled holes every 6 <br />inches on center. Consult Product Data Sheet for additional information. <br />2.06 DECK PRIMERS <br />A. Sarnavap Self -Adhered Primer WB <br />A water-based primer designed for use with Sarnavap Self -Adhered vapor barrier to promote <br />adhesion to most substrates. Consult Product Data Sheet for additional information. <br />2.07 WALKWAY PROTECTION <br />A. Sarnatred V <br />A polyester reinforced, 96 mil weldable membrane with an improved chevron surface <br />embossment. Used as a protection layer from rooftop traffic. In light gray, Sarnatred V is <br />supplied in rolls of 39 inches wide by 50 feet long. Consult Product Data Sheet for additional <br />information. <br />2.08 VAPOR BARRIER (If required by Specifier) <br />A. Sarnavap-10 <br />A 10 mil thick polyethylene vapor barrier/air barrier. Sarnavap-10 is supplied in a folded panel <br />that is rolled onto a core. The core width is 5 feet. When unrolled off the core and unfolded, <br />the sheet dimensions are 20 feet wide by 100 feet long. Consult Product Data Sheet for <br />additional information. <br />B. Sarnavap Self -Adhered <br />A 32 mil self-adhesive vapor barrier that can also serve as temporary roof protection. <br />13 <br />
