ACCESS DOORS & PANELS <br />Section 08305 <br />15-1207 <br />C. Shop Drawings: Show all parts, connections and anchorages, adjacent materials, fully <br />dimensioned and noted. Show locations of all doors and panels on plan. <br />D. Executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />1.05 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.04. <br />C. Guarantee doors shall operate properly and will be free of defects in material and <br />workmanship. <br />1.06 REFERENCES AND STANDARDS <br />A. Tilte 24, Part 2, CCR, California Building Code. <br />1.07 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver undamaged products to job in manufacturer's sealed containers and/or original <br />bundles with tags and labels intact. <br />B. Store materials in protected, dry conditions off of ground and in areas so as to not interfere <br />with the progress of the work. <br />C. Transport, store and handle in strict accord with the manufacturer's written recommendations. <br />D. Make delivery to job when notified by Contractor verifying that the job is ready to receive the <br />work of this Section and that arrangements have been made to properly store, handle and <br />protect such materials and work. <br />PART 2 -PRODUCTS <br />2.01 ACCESS DOORS <br />A. Wall Doors (fire rated): Milcor Style UFR (Fire Rated Doors for Walls and ceilings.) <br />1. Material: Prime painted steel: 16 gauge frame with 20 gauge door panel. <br />2. Finish: Chemically bonded with prime coat of baked -on electro -static powder. <br />3. Hinge: Continuous type; steel with stainless steel pin. <br />4. Automatic panel closer: Typical. <br />5. Lock: Self -latching with flush, key -operated cylinder lock with two keys with interior <br />latch release. <br />6. Anchors: Furnish with anchors as required. <br />B. Drywall Walls and Ceilings (non -rated) Milcor Style DW, flush frame access door, typical all <br />non -rated locations <br />Material: 16 gauge steel frame with 14 gauge door panel.
