FINISH HARDWARE <br />Section 08710 <br />15-1207 <br />1.08 QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. Qualifications of Supplier: The finish hardware supplier shall provide the services of an <br />Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC), a member of the Door & Hardware Institute for <br />consultation at no additional cost to the Owner during course of construction. <br />1.09 TEMPLATES <br />A. Hardware applied to aluminum or metal door and frames and factory prepared wood doors <br />and frames shall be made to template. Furnish two copies of each template to those <br />Manufacturers who are not listed as current registered template book holders. Furnish 2 <br />copies of each template for items whose Manufacturers do not provide registered template <br />book. Furnish 2 copies of approved finish hardware schedule for use by these door and <br />frame suppliers. <br />1.10 DOOR CLEARANCES <br />Unless detailed otherwise on Drawings, provide following door clearances: <br />A. Floor Clearance: <br />Labeled doors 3/8 inch max. over floor or threshold <br />No threshold 3/4 inch max. for metal doors; 5/8 inch max. for wood doors <br />Threshold 1/8 inch typical <br />Carpet 1/8 inch over top of nap <br />B. Head and jamb clearance 1/8 inch max. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 HARDWARE TYPES LIST <br />A.
