LATH & PLASTER <br />Section 09200 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 04300, Unit Masonry System. <br />B. Section 06100, Rough Carpentry. <br />C. Section 07900, Joint Sealants <br />D. Section 08305, Access Doors. <br />E. Section 09300, Ceramic Tile. <br />F. Section 09900, Painting. <br />G. Divisions 15 and 16, Mechanical and Electrical work, for access panels. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />B. Use materials and products of one manufacturer whenever possible. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Inspector of Record. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />D. Certification: Comply with governing codes and regulations. Provide products of acceptable <br />manufacturer's which have been in satisfactory use in similar service for three years. Use <br />experienced installers. <br />E. Qualifications: Contractor shall provide evidence of five (5) years documented experience on <br />projects of similar scope including application of acrylic finish coat. Contractor shall possess <br />a current trained contractor certificate by the manufacturer for the installation of the submitted <br />finish system. <br />F. Materials shall be manufactured at a facility covered by a current ISO 9001:2000 certification. <br />Certification of the facility shall be done by a registrar accredited by the American National <br />Standards Institute, Registrar Accreditation Board (ANSI-RAB). <br />G. Pre -installation Meeting <br />1. Hold a pre -installation conference, two weeks prior to start of weather barrier installation. <br />Attendees shall include Contractor, Architect, Installer, Owner's Representative(s), and <br />weather barrier manufacturer's designated technical representative. <br />
