LATH & PLASTER <br />Section 09200 <br />15-1207 <br />2. Review all related project requirements and submittals, status of substrate work and <br />preparation, areas of potential conflict and interface, availability of weather barrier <br />assembly materials and components, installer's training requirements, calibration and <br />documentation of field mixes, equipment, facilities, scaffolding; and coordinate methods, <br />procedures and sequencing requirements for full and proper installation, integration and <br />protection. <br />H. Mock-up <br />Install mock-up using approved weather barrier assembly including fasteners, flashing, <br />tape and related accessories per manufacturer's current printed instructions and <br />recommendations. <br />a. Mock-up size: 10 feet by 10 feet. <br />b. Mock-up Substrate: Match wall assembly construction, including window opening. <br />C. Mock-up may not remain as part of the work. <br />d. Leave a portion of each level uncovered for review of fastener installation and <br />required seal tapes. This includes, but not limited to, studs / backing, sheathing, <br />each layer of backing paper, lath, screeds and reveals. <br />2. Contact manufacturer's designated representative prior to weather barrier assembly <br />installation, to perform required mock-up visual inspection and analysis. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee, installation <br />instructions, and maintenance instructions. <br />C. Samples: The following samples are required. Submit per Section 01300. <br />1. Sample for each type of finish and all lathing accessories for Architect's review. <br />2. Manufacturer's full range of colors for Architect's selection. <br />D. Shop Drawings: Submit showing all parts, connections and anchorages, flashings and <br />adjacent materials, fully dimensioned and noted. <br />E. Submit executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />F. Site Application Sample: <br />It is a requirement of these specifications that prior to ordering materials, the <br />Contractor is required to provide large scale (min. 10'x10') samples of all colors <br />directly applied in place to the building exterior for final color approval by the <br />Architect. Provide up to 2- schemes at no extra cost to the Owner. Finish <br />materials shall not be ordered or applied until such large scale sample(s) have <br />been reviewed and approved by Architect in writing. These requirements as <br />described herein may be waived by the Architect in writing only. <br />1.05 GUARANTEE <br />2 <br />
