Manufacturer: Panels specified below are manufactured by Armstrong World Industries, Inc. <br />unless noted otherwise and are being provided to set a level of quality and appearance. <br />Substitutions must be equal or better in all respects. <br />Acoustical Ceiling Panel - Type 1: <br />a. Surface Texture: Fine <br />b. Composition: Mineral Fiber <br />C. Color: White <br />d. Size: 2' x 4' x 3/a" <br />e. Edge Profile: Angled Tegular for interface with specified suspended ceiling <br />system. <br />f. Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC): ASTM C 423; Classified with UL label on <br />product carton, 0.50. <br />g. Ceiling Attenuation Class (CAC): ASTM C 1414; Classified with UL label on <br />product carton, 35 <br />h. Flame Spread: ASTM E 1264; Class A (UL) <br />i. Light Reflectance (LR): ASTM E 1477; White Panel: Light Reflectance: 0.83. <br />j. Dimensional Stability: HumiGuard Plus - temperatures up to 120 degrees F and <br />high humidity excluding only exterior use, use over standing water, and direct <br />contact with moisture. <br />k. Mold/Mildew Inhibitor: The front and back of the product have been treated with <br />BioBlock, a paint that contains a special biocide that inhibits or retards the growth <br />of mold or mildew, ASTM D 3273. <br />I. Ceiling Attenuation Class (CAC): ASTM C 1414; Classified with UL label on <br />product carton, 40. <br />g. Flame Spread: ASTM E 1264; Fire Resistive <br />h. Light Reflectance (LR): ASTM E 1477; White Panel: Light Reflectance: 0.80. <br />i.
