LINOLEUM FLOOR COVERING <br />Section 09654 <br />15-1207 <br />F. Submit executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />G. Submit name and qualifications of independent, third party testing lab as required by article <br />3.01 <br />H. Maintenance and Operating Manual: Include manufacturer's written recommendations for <br />care, cleaning and maintenance of each type of material installed. <br />1.05 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.04. <br />C. Include unconditional guarantee against loss of bond between base and wall. <br />D. Submit 5 -year adhesive warranty covering replacement of finished flooring materials, primers <br />and adhesives for installations over concrete slab -on -grade subfloors. <br />E. Submit 5 -year limited product warranty. <br />1.06 REFERENCES AND STANDARDS <br />A. California Green Building Standards Code, current edition, as adopted by the California <br />Division of the State Architect (DSA). <br />1.07 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver undamaged products to job in manufacturer's sealed containers and/or original <br />bundles with tags and labels intact. <br />B. Storage and Protection: Store materials protected from exposure to harmful weather <br />conditions and at temperature and humidity conditions recommended by manufacturer. <br />1. Material should be stored in areas that are fully enclosed, weathertight with the <br />permanent HVAC system set at a uniform temperature of at least 68 degrees F (20 <br />degrees C) for 48 hrs. prior to, during and after installation. <br />C. Transport, store and handle in strict accord with the manufacturer's written recommendations. <br />D. Make delivery to job when notified by Contractor verifying that the job is ready to receive the <br />work of this Section and that arrangements have been made to properly store, handle and <br />protect such materials and work. <br />1.08 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Do not install materials unless ambient temperature of 65 degrees F is maintained 72 hours <br />prior to and during laying and until all materials have been stored at site for 72 hours at that <br />temperature. Thereafter, maintain a minimum temperature of 55 degrees F in areas where <br />work is completed. Protect all materials from the direct flow of heat from hot-air registers, <br />radiators or other heating fixtures and appliances. <br />2 <br />
