RESILIENT SHEET LINOLEUM <br />MULTI-PURPOSE & SPORT FLOORING <br />SECTION 09656 <br />15-1207 <br />11) Dynamic coefficient of friction per DIN V 189032-2: 0.4 - 0.6 <br />C. Colors and Patterns: <br />1) As selected by Owner from manufacturer's standard colors and patterns. <br />2. Linoleum Weld Rod <br />a. Provide solid color linoleum weld rod as produced by DLW and intended for heat <br />welding of seams. . <br />b. Colors and Patterns: <br />1) Color shall be compatible with field color of flooring or as selected by Archi- <br />tect to contrast with field color of flooring. Color selected from the range cur- <br />rently available. <br />2.02 ACCESSORIES <br />A. Trowelable Patching Compound: Latex -modified, hydraulic -cement -based formulation ap- <br />proved by flooring manufacturer. Leveling is not in this spec sections scope. <br />B. Adhesives: Water-resistant type recommended by flooring manufacturer or distributor for sub- <br />strate and conditions indicated. <br />C. Game -Line Paint: Complete system including primer, compatible with flooring and recom- <br />mended by flooring and paint manufacturers. Endura USA or equal. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 EXAMINATION <br />A. Verify the Following: <br />1. The area in which the indoor resilient flooring will be installed is dry, weather -tight and in <br />compliance with specified requirements. <br />2. Permanent heat, lighting and ventilation systems are installed and operable. <br />3. Other work, including overhead work, that could cause damage, dirt, dust or otherwise <br />interrupt installation has been completed or suspended. <br />4. No foreign materials or objects are present on the substrate and that it is clean and <br />ready for preparation and installation. <br />5. Verify that the provided from GC or Owner supplied testing reports <br />a. Concrete moisture substrate relative humidity is within the adhesive limitations <br />b. The concrete slab surface pH level is within the specified range. <br />C. The concrete slab surface deviation is no greater than 1/8 inch within 10 feet (3.2 <br />mm within 3 m) when measured according to ASTM E 1155. <br />d. The concrete slab complies with ACI 302.2R for concrete design including use of <br />a low-permeance vapor barrier directly beneath the concrete subfloor with sealed <br />penetrations. <br />3.02 PREPARATION <br />A. Prepare substrates according to manufacturer's written recommendations to ensure proper <br />adhesion of resilient flooring system. <br />B. Concrete Substrates: Prepare according to ASTM F 710. <br />4 <br />
