EPDXY FLOORING <br />W/ VAPOR CONTROL <br />Section 09705 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 01350, Environmental Requirements. <br />B. Section 01045, Cutting & Patching. <br />C Section 02072, Minor Demolition for Remodeling. <br />D Section 03300, Cast -In -Place Concrete. <br />E Section 09300, Ceramic Tile. <br />F Section 15400, Plumbing, for floor drains. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products. <br />B. Single -Source Responsibility: Obtain epoxy flooring materials, including primers, resins, <br />hardening agents, colored aggregates, vapor control primer, waterproofing/antifracture <br />membrane and finish or sealing coats, from a single manufacturer. NO EXCEPTIONS. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Project Inspector. Work not so inspected is subject to removal and replacement <br />at no cost to the Owner. <br />D. Installing subcontractor to be able to fully comply with the submittal requirements in section <br />1.04, NO Exceptions. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee, installation <br />instructions, and maintenance instructions. <br />1. Submit Base Manufacturer's EPA licensing documentation and permitting for <br />Antimicrobial/Antibacterial System as well as base manufacturer's documentation <br />showing the Antimicrobial/Antibacterial has long-term service life in the cured epoxy is <br />not simply an "in -can preservative" and is effective against bacteria, microbes, fungi <br />and mildew. <br />C. Samples: The following samples are required. Submit per Section 01300. <br />Manufacturer's full range of colors for Architect's selection. <br />
