EPDXY FLOORING <br />W/ VAPOR CONTROL <br />Section 09705 <br />15-1207 <br />E. Restrict traffic from area where flooring is being installed or is curing. <br />1.09 QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. System applicator shall have at least five (5) years experience in the application of specified <br />flooring system. <br />B. Flooring Material Manufacturer shall have a minimum 10 years experience producing the <br />products submitted as equivalents to the basis of design and its accessories listed in part <br />2.01. <br />1.10 FIELD MEASUREMENTS <br />A. Make and be responsible for all field dimensions necessary for proper fitting and completion <br />of work. Report any discrepancies to Architect before proceeding. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Vapor Dissipation System: Dex-O-Tex, Vapor Control Primer 200 as manufactured by <br />Crossfield Products Corp., or accepted equal. Vapor Dissipation System must warranty <br />reduction of vapor emissions from 10 pounds to 3 pounds. <br />B. Waterproofing/Vapor Barrier/Antifracture Membrane: Dex-O-Tex, SC Membrane, flexibilized <br />epoxy -urethane, as manufactured by Crossfield Products Corp. or approved equal. <br />Fiberglass -reinforced epoxy or other antifracture membranes, not intended for % inch epoxy <br />mortar systems, are not acceptable. Full coverage as waterproof membrane is required on <br />all floors that are not on grade. <br />C. Flooring: Dex-O-Tex Cheminert Terracolor (antimicrobial), W troweled epoxy flooring with <br />natural Moh 7 Hardness quartz aggregate, chemical resistant top finish as manufactured by <br />Crossfield Products Corp, or approved equal. Limestone aggregate, colored quartz <br />aggregate systems, broadcast floors or "quartz floors" are not acceptable. <br />D. Anti microbial Additive: Dex-O-Tex, Dexcide Antimicrobial System as manufactured by <br />Crossfield Products Corp., or approved equal. Product must function long term in cured <br />epoxy flooring installation (added in factory). "In -can preservatives" and fungicides are not <br />acceptable. <br />E. Topcoat: Dex-O-Tex, Aerofloor High -Performance Urethane (antimicrobial matte finish), as <br />manufactured by Crossfield Products Corp., or approved equal. Horizontal surface textures <br />must have a minimum static coefficient of friction of 0.60 and ramp surface textures, <br />exceeding 5% slope, must have a minimum static coefficient of friction of 0.80. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 INSPECTION <br />A.
