Section 10200, Louvers & Vents. <br />T. Divisions 15 & 16, Exposed piping, ductwork and conduit <br />1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products. <br />B. Use materials and products of one manufacturer whenever possible. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Inspector of Record. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />D. All materials and application thereof, must comply with local, state and federal air pollution <br />control regulations. <br />E. Source Quality Control: Material shall be best grade products of type specified and listed <br />below as regularly manufactured by these manufacturers. Materials not bearing <br />manufacturer's identification as standard "best grade product" of their regular line will not be <br />considered for use. <br />F. Manufacturer's representative from coating supplier shall visit the site prior to application to <br />review and approve the specified systems. Any discrepancies or recommended changes shall <br />be submitted to the Architect for consideration prior to finalization of submittal. <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee, installation <br />instructions and maintenance instructions. Same manufacturer of any given type of paint shall <br />be used throughout in strict compliance with manufacturer's printed instructions. <br />C. Samples: The following samples are required. Submit per Section 01300. <br />1. Manufacturer's full range of colors for Architect's selection. <br />2. Prepare 8 inch x 10 inch card samples of all colors and finishes selected. Submit <br />samples sufficiently ahead of work progress to allow for color board assembly and <br />distribution. <br />D. Site Application Sample: <br />It is a requirement of these specifications that prior to ordering materials, the <br />Contractor is required to provide large scale (min. 10'x10') samples of all colors <br />2 <br />
