FLAGPOLE <br />Section 10350 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 03000, Site Concrete. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />B. Use materials and products of one manufacturer whenever possible. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Inspector of Record. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />D. Qualifications of Installers: For actual installation of flagpoles, use only personnel thoroughly <br />trained in the skills, and completely familiar with the manufacturer's recommended methods <br />of installation. <br />1.04 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Structural Performance: Provide flagpoles capable of withstanding the effects of wind loads <br />a determined according to NAAMM FP 1001-07, "Guide Specifications for Design of Metal <br />Flagpoles" or to specified wind speed, whichever is more stringent. <br />B. Base flagpole design on maximum standard size nylon flag suitable for use with pole or flag <br />size indicated, whichever is more stringent. <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee, installation <br />instructions, and maintenance instructions. <br />C. Shop Drawings: Show all parts, connections and anchorages, adjacent materials, fully <br />dimensioned and noted. <br />D. Executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />1.06 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />
