FLAGPOLE <br />Section 10350 <br />15-1207 <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.04. <br />1.07 REFERENCES AND STANDARDS <br />A. Title 24, Part 2, CCR, California Building Code. <br />1.08 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver undamaged products to job in manufacturer's sealed containers and/or original <br />bundles with tags and labels intact. <br />B. Store materials in protected, dry conditions off of ground and in areas so as to not interfere <br />with the progress of the work. <br />C. Transport, store and handle in strict accord with the manufacturer's written <br />recommendations. <br />D. Make delivery to job when notified by Contractor verifying that the job is ready to receive the <br />work of this Section and that arrangements have been made to properly store, handle and <br />protect such materials and work. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS <br />A. American Flagpole, Baartol Company, Inc., Concord Industries, Inc. or approved equal. <br />2.02 FLAGPOLE TYPE AND CONSTRUCTION <br />A. Construction: Fabricate from seamless, extruded tubing complying with ASTM B 221, alloy <br />6063-T6, having a tensile strength not less than 30,000 psi with a yield point of 25,000 psi. <br />Heat treat after fabrication to comply with ASTM B 597, temper T6. <br />B. Internal halyard with winch, groundset flagpole, 35 ft. exposed height, with a minimum base <br />wall thickness of 0.219 in. (7/32") and an 8 inch butt diameter, in one piece (no splice). <br />2.03 MOUNTING <br />A. Foundation Tube: Galvanized corrugated steel foundation tube, 16 ga. minimum wall <br />thickness, sized to suit flagpole and installation. Provide with 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) steel <br />bottom plate and steel centering wedges all welded together. Furnish with 3/16 inch (4.8 <br />mm) support plate, 3/4 inch (19 mm) diameter x 18 inch long steel ground (lightning) spike, <br />all welded construction. <br />2.04 FITTINGS <br />A. Internal Halyard Truck Assembly with Hood for Cable: Cast aluminum non -fouling revolving <br />with single pulley mounted inside hood, stainless steel roller bearings, threaded spindle for <br />attachment to top of pole and bronze exit bushing for cable. <br />Provided with stainless steel ball bearings. <br />2 <br />
