SIGNS <br />Section 10445 <br />15-1207 <br />B. California Green Building Standards Code, current edition, as adopted by the California <br />Division of the State Architect (DSA). <br />C. Title 19, CCR, Article 33.01(1). <br />1.06 GUARANTEE <br />A. Refer to General Conditions and Section 01300. <br />B. Submit fully executed Guarantee with submittal package required by Article 1.04. <br />C. Provide manufacturer's guarantee against manufacturing defects. Text or symbols that can <br />be removed from the sign face utilizing a sharp object or other conventional methods will be <br />considered a manufacturing defect. <br />1.07 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver undamaged products to job in manufacturer's sealed containers and/or original <br />bundles with tags and labels intact. <br />B. Store materials in protected, dry conditions off of ground and in areas so as to not interfere <br />with the progress of the work. <br />C. Transport, store and handle in strict accord with the manufacturer's written <br />recommendations. <br />D. Make delivery to job when notified by Contractor verifying that the job is ready to receive the <br />work of this Section and that arrangements have been made to properly store, handle and <br />protect such materials and work. <br />1.08 FIELD MEASUREMENTS <br />A. Make and be responsible for all field dimensions necessary for proper fitting and completion <br />of work. Report discrepancies to Architect before proceeding. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 PLASTIC SIGNS - TACTILE <br />A. Product, Manufacturers, Materials & Fabrication: <br />1. Product/Manufacturer: "Inlaid Tactile Sign" as manufactured by Accent Signage <br />Systems, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota (800) 215-9437, Ellis & Ellis Sign Systems of <br />Sacramento (916) 924-1936, ASI-Modulex of Los Altos, CA, (650) 940-1354, Weidner <br />Architectural Signage of Sacramento , CA, or approved equal. Substitutions utilizing <br />other materials or manufacturing processes or methods WILL NOT BE <br />ACCEPTED. <br />2. Sign Face: Gravo-TacTm Exterior, 2 -ply, 1/8 -inch (1/4 -inch total thickness). Painted <br />signs will not be accepted. <br />3. Tactile Text: Provide tactile text and RasterTm Braille at all plastic tactile signage. <br />Tactile text shall be inlaid into sign face 1/32 -inch and raised 1/32- inch minimum <br />above sign face surface. Inlaid text shall be Gravo-TacTm Exterior, 1 -ply, 1/16 -inch <br />
