Sign Types: Toilet Room Door Symbol: Provide one of the following symbols as appropriate to the toilet room type. Toilet Room Door Symbols shall have a color contrast that is distinctly different from the color of the door. Characters and pictograms to be flush with face of symbol. Unisex: %-inch thick, equilateral triangle of contrasting color and adhered to the top of, with corners reaching the edge of a %-inch thick, 12 -inch diameter circle, which is a contrasting color to the door. Both the circle and triangle shall have eased edges. The International symbol pictogram for unisex restroom shall be superimposed over the top of triangle. The word "UNISEX" shall be provided below pictogram. 2. Occupancy Signs (capacity sign): Sign text to be 1 1/2 -inches tall. Quantity of occupants shall be as indicated on plans or as provided by Architect. Signs to read as follows: a. Disabled Accessible Entrance Signs: 6 inches high x 6 inches wide with International Symbol of Accessibility. Provide next to doors as indicated in drawings. 4. Roof Access Sign: To read "ROOF ACCESS". Provide at all doors leading to a roof access ladder or stair. 2.03 METAL SIGNS A. Letter Style: The stroke thickness of the uppercase letter "I" shall be 10% minimum and 20% maximum of the height of the character. The width of the uppercase letter "O" shall be 60% minimum and 110% maximum of the height of the uppercase letter "I". Letter style to be Sans Serif, uppercase.
