FOOD SERVICE <br />EQUIPMENT <br />Section 11400 <br />15-1207 <br />SECTION 11 40 00 <br />FOODSERVICE EQUIPMENT <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br />A. This section includes of furnishing all labor and material required to provide and deliver all food <br />service equipment herein specified into the building, uncrate, assemble, set -in-place, level and <br />completely install, exclusive of final utility connections. <br />B. Furnish all material and labor required to completely provide, deliver and install all Food Service <br />Equipment as specified herein and as shown on the drawings. This work shall be in strict <br />accordance with the plans and specifications with all dimensions verified in the field prior to any <br />fabrication. <br />1. Coordinate the Food Service Equipment work with the respective trades performing <br />preparatory work for the installation of the Food Service Equipment. <br />2. Comply with all Federal, State and Municipal regulations which bear on the execution <br />of this project. Food service aisles shall be a minimum of 36" wide and tray slides shall <br />be mounted at 34" maximum above the finished floor. Food service equipment required to <br />be accessible shall conform to all reach requirements in CBC 110413-5, 110413-6 and figures <br />1113-16 and 1113-17. <br />C. Work Includes: <br />1. Materials shown on the Food Service Equipment Schedule. <br />2. Piping, valves, and plumbing accessories that are integral within the equipment. <br />3. Furnishing control devices such as solenoid valves that are not integral with the <br />equipment, for installation by Mechanical division 15 and/or Electrical Division 16. <br />4. Wiring, wiring devices, controls and mechanical accessories that are integral in the <br />equipment. <br />5. Ventilating ducts, flues, controls and mechanical accessories that are integral in the <br />equipment. <br />6. Anchors, fasteners, fillers and sealants for mounting equipment securely in place. <br />7. Cooperation with all other contractors on the job including the furnishing of information in the <br />form of drawings, wiring diagrams and other data. <br />
