Related Sections include the following: <br />1. Division 15 Mechanical <br />2. Division 16 Electrical <br />1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. QUALIFICATIONS: <br />1. Installer: Regularly engaged in providing food service equipment from manufacturers of this <br />type of equipment a minimum of 5 years with at least 5 installations of this size and type that <br />are at least each 3 years old. <br />B. STANDARD OF MANUFACTURE <br />1. Food service equipment that is specified as "custom" having no manufacture name or <br />model number shall be manufactured by a Food Service Equipment Fabricator with at <br />lease five (5) years experience with engineering, design and fabrication of food service <br />equipment. The manufacture shall be subject to the review of the Architect and/or <br />Consultant and shall be approved by the National Sanitation Foundation. All Fabricated <br />equipment shall be constructed in strict compliance with the latest standards of the <br />National Sanitation Foundation and shall bear the mark of the National Sanitation <br />Foundation in full compliance with all applicable codes and ordinances. <br />2. All electrically heated or operated equipment shall bear the seal of approval of the <br />Underwriters Laboratories, and shall comply with the National Electrical Code and all <br />local Codes and Ordinances. <br />3. All food service equipment that is specified as "buy-out' having a specific manufacture <br />name and model number shall comply with the latest editions of the National Sanitation <br />Foundation. <br />4. All Gas heated or operated equipment shall be the seal of approval of the American Gas <br />Association (AGA) <br />5. All Steam heated or operated equipment shall conform to the standard of the American <br />Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and shall be ASME approved. <br />6. Food shields and Sneeze guards shall meet all the requirements of National Sanitation <br />Foundation (NSF) Standard 2. <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br />A.
