The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 01350, Environmental Requirements. <br />B. Section 06100, Rough Carpentry, for Blocking and Backing. <br />C. Section 06200, Finish Carpentry & Millwork. <br />D. Section 09250, Gypsum Wallboard. <br />E. Section 09900, Painting. <br />F. Section 09950, Wall Covering. <br />G. Section 10100, Markerboards and Tack Boards <br />H. Division 15, Mechanical Work for Mechanical Fixtures, Sinks (except as Specifically Included <br />Herein), Services and Connections. <br />Section 16, Electrical Work for Electrical outlets and fittings built into architectural casework. <br />1.03 DEFINITIONS <br />A. "Exposed" surfaces includes all surfaces visible when doors and drawers are closed. <br />1. Bottoms of casework more than 4'-0" above the floor will be considered an exposed <br />surface. <br />2. Tops of casework that are visible by building occupants from stairs, mezzanines or other <br />elevated locations will be considered as exposed. <br />B "Semi -exposed" surfaces includes those surfaces found behind doors, such as shelves, <br />divisions, interior faces of casework ends, casework backs at cabinet interior, drawer sides, <br />drawer backs and bottoms, and the back face doors. <br />1. Visible surfaces in open cases, or behind doors of clear glass, will be considered as <br />Semi -exposed surfaces unless detailed or specified otherwise. <br />C. "Concealed" surfaces include surfaces of sleepers, web frames, dust panels, and other <br />surfaces that are not visible after installation. <br />1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />11 <br />
