State Fire Marshal, Title 19 CCR <br />15. Other applicable state laws <br />B. Nothing in Drawings or specifications shall be construed to permit work not conforming to <br />these codes. <br />C. Conform to State of California Energy Conservation Standards for all systems, equipment, and <br />construction. <br />D. The above Codes and Standards define minimum requirements required for the project. <br />Where Contract Documents differ from governing codes, furnish and install higher standard. <br />1.05 FEES, PERMITS, AND UTILITY SERVICES: <br />A. Arrange for required inspections and permits required in installation of the work. <br />B. The Owner will pay charges for permits required. <br />C. Arrange for utility connections and pay charges incurred, including excess service charges, if <br />any. <br />D. Obtain the first permits to operate any compressed air tanks that are required to be furnished <br />under this work, pay all costs, and perform all tests required to obtain permits. Post permits <br />under glass in a conspicuous place on or near the tanks, as required by these authorities. <br />1.06 UTILITY CONNECTIONS: <br />A. Arrange for utility connection and coordinate work with utility company. <br />B. Contractor to bear the cost of all construction related to utility services from the point of <br />connection shown on the Contract Documents. This includes any piping, excavation, backfill, <br />boring, etc. <br />1.07 SITE EXAMINATION: <br />A. Examine site, verify dimensions and locations against Drawings, and inform self of <br />conditions under which work is to be done before submitting proposal. No allowance will be <br />made for extra expense on account of error. <br />2 <br />
