MECHANICAL GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />Section 15010 <br />15-1207 <br />All areas of building shall receive proper flow of hot and chilled water to assure adequate <br />and uniform temperatures throughout. <br />J. Final observation will not be made until all of the above have been completed and a <br />preliminary copy of the balance report has been submitted and reviewed. <br />3.14 POST -CONTRACT COMPLETION TESTS: <br />A. If the required full -load operation conditions cannot be obtained at the time of the Project <br />Completion Tests due to outdoor seasonal temperatures, return to the job site when <br />requested by the Architect and complete proper loading of equipment and systems as <br />required. Changing of any air filters will not be required under these tests. Contractor will <br />be allowed seven calendar days after notification to begin tests. <br />3.15 PRE -SEASON START UP: <br />A. When requested by the Owner within one year of the filing of Notice of Completion, and <br />when full -load tests required under Project Completion Tests and Post Contract Completion <br />Tests have not been performed, start up any equipment or systems required for heating or <br />cooling season operation by the Owner when such equipment and systems have remained <br />shut down immediately after the Project Completion Tests. Make proper assurance that all <br />equipment and systems are operating properly before being turned over for the first <br />operational use of the Owner within one year of filing of Notice of Completion. The changing <br />of any air filters will not be required under these start-up requirements. The Contractor will <br />be allowed seven calendar days after notification, to begin test. <br />3.16 MECHANICAL RECORD AS -BUILT DRAWINGS: <br />A. During the course of Project Construction, Mechanical Contractor shall maintain recorded <br />"AS -built" information by distinctively marking up approved shop drawings prints to depict all <br />actual work installed on a daily basis form but not limited to field conditions, addendums, <br />architectural supplemental instructions (ASIs) , instruction bulletins (IBs), change orders <br />(COs), responses to Request For Information (RFIs), and approved product substitutions. <br />B. The marked -up shop drawings will be made available at the Construction Site to the <br />Architect upon request, at any time. <br />C. The marked up shop drawings with the recorded information shall then be used to create <br />Record As -built drawings at the completion of the project. Contractor shall submit the <br />Record As -built drawings in full size hard copies and also in CAD files format using the <br />AutoCAD 2004 or later version. <br />1. Hand marked shop drawings are not acceptable. <br />2. Provide 2 complete sets of full size drawings on 20 pound white bond paper. <br />3. Provide 1 CD (compact disc) with Record drawings in either AutoCAD, version 2004 <br />or later version. <br />4. Record as -built drawings are to be full size drawings (same size as Contract <br />Documents) and all plans are to be to standard engineering scale. The minimum <br />drawing scale to match those provided within the Contract Documents. <br />12 <br />
